03 · Safe use guide
Don't get your number banned.
WhatsApp's rules are strict. Follow these and you'll never get a strike. Break them and even our smart throttle won't save you.
Do
- Send to people who've opted in or bought from you before.
- Use the same number you put on your invoices and storefront.
- Identify yourself in the first line — your business name.
- Include an opt-out: "Reply STOP to unsubscribe."
- Send during local business hours. Honor "Do Not Disturb" replies.
- Warm up new numbers — start at 50/day, ramp slowly.
Don't
- Send to scraped / bought lists you've never interacted with.
- Spam the same template to thousands without personalization.
- Use a brand-new SIM and immediately blast 5,000 messages.
- Ignore people replying STOP — keep an exclusion list.
- Send at 2am, or send the same campaign three days in a row.
- Promise things you can't deliver — replies hurt reputation more than sends.
